Google Video, Google’s “beta” video search service, now lets you watch any of the found video right inside your browser window using Flash 8. And so to celebrate, here’s a video of a squirrel yelling at me. It’s not clear to me if the video is transcoded to Flash format video by the service; I bet it is, since I uploaded video to the service in H.264 format. Also notable, the entire first episode of Chris Rock’s new sitcom is available, and I hear it’s good.

The third season of “Arrested Development” starts tonight on Fox at 8 PM. It’s the best and funniest show on network TV in years — don’t miss it.

Okay, you’re just going to have to take my word for it when I tell you that I hate David Spade as much as the next guy. I’ve gone on just as many crazy arms-in-the-air, why-is-this-obnoxious-douchebag-popular rants as every other well adjusted person. So I’m finding it pretty disturbing that I actually found myself watching his new show The Showbiz Show on Comedy Central and even more disturbing that I found it to be kind of funny. Does this make me a bad person? Sadly, I think it does.
From The Daily Show
Give us this day our daily bread. Oh sure.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Nobody better trespass against me. I’ll tell you that.Blessed are the meek.
Blessed are the merciful. You mean we can’t use torture?
Blessed are the peacemakers. Jane Fonda?
Love your enemies - Arabs?
Ye cannot serve God and Mammon. The hell I can’t! Look at the Reverand Pat Robertson. And He is as happy as a pig in s**t.
There was an “Asssscat” special recently shown on Bravo recently. The members of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade (and friends) are some of the best improvisers in the world, and it was quite an excellent special; a nice treat for those who don’t want to brave NYC just to go to the UCB theater.
And of course, it doesn’t look like Bravo will ever air it again. Luckily, there’s other ways to see it.

Last night’s Daily Show was so good, it reminded me why we love the Daily Show in the first place; it reminds us that we’re not alone thinking the way we do about our government. Watch it if you can.
