Maybe it’s a certain format that doesn’t fclose() or something? Maybe the rotate function (or some other common demoninator) is at work?

Are you guys *quitting* Preview or just *closing* the graphic? Because if you *quit* preview, it should work. If you just close the graphic, however, Preview should fail to release whatever “open” flag the Finder uses to sense it’s ok to empty the trash.

Or maybe I just like the crazy attention.
