Since 1996, when I went to the one in San Francisco, I’ve wanted to make one of these. Probably I’d need an off-the-grid-type lair to put it in.

camera obscuras are cool.
It’s rumored that Leonardo DaVinci used one of these to show himself at his drafting table, hunched over, neither making eye contact nor wearing a shirt. Only in the 21st century can we all enjoy such activities.
