Short list of USB drives I don’t care about whatsoever:

    1) Microsoft propaganda delivery mechanism

  2. Jeff says:

Well, yeah, but you can delete the propaganda, then use a Sharpie Mini to delete the word “Microsoft” as well.

If you really want a laugh, have them send you their kit where they explain how Windows 2003 Server is less expensive than Linux to deploy and maintain.

What was the size for the drive? I really don’t care, as long as it’s 32 MB or better, but I didn’t see it anywhere. I’m just going to keep a few files with me at all times. The ones that I created on my PowerBook…

  4. Ben says:

I was sent that kit in the mail, without even requesting it. I was completely and utterly outraged. I immediately (18 months) sold all my stock (20 shares).

  5. gene says:

Of course, the real cost here is having to have one of those insidious, evil “passport” things.

    no thanks.
i mean, after years of running,.. ummm,.. “complimentary” copies of Win98SE, Win2k Pro, WinXP Pro and Office 97 through Office XP Pro, and enjoying hours of gameplay with such umm,.. uh,.. “liberated” titles as Age of Mythology and Flight Simulator, it just wouldn’t seem right taking anything else from Microsquash* without giving something back…
    …like maybe the finger.
    Yoink!

*props if you got the Bloom County reference.

My Passport was stolen in Greece (Crete) and I was issued a temporary one (after a long night in jail), which has since expired. Is there a place I can click to update my info and maybe get a new Passport… with a better picture!?
