Use this AppleScript to activate Front Row after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.4.3:

tell application “System Events”
tell application “Front Row” to activate
delay 0.0
key code 53
end tell

…but Front Row’s DVD Player function still won’t work unless you’re running DVD Player version 6.4.2… and running it still borks your yellow “minimize” buttons until you restart all your running apps… but those movie trailers, oh, those movie trailers.
